About Princess Mirah
Mirah is a princess indeed. Her great grandfather was the last ruling king of Bali before the Dutch imposed their own government following colonization. Princess Mirah grew up in the palace, obtained a fine education, and was also exposed to the skilled artisans of her native land. She grew up with a keen interest in art and design and chose to channel her passion for design into creating her own line of handmade batik fabrics. She is involved in every step of the production process and her designs have garnered international acclaim.
Having been the first to introduce the ancient Balinese art of batik to the quilting industry in the early 80's, Princess Mirah Design has earned a reputation for crafting the most creative, high quality and vibrant batiks in the world.
And we've worked as Princess Mirah's Canadian partner since the very beginning.
With this in mind, we are proud to be the exclusive distributor of Princess Mirah Batiks in Canada.
Our fabrics are made of high quality 100% cotton - 44/45" wide, unless otherwise noted.
